It was brilliant to see the competitive nature of the Micros coming out in the fixture against Cumnock last Sunday, which I hope we can carry on to other Clubs both home and away.
I won’t be at Micros for the next two weeks, hence the double message, however, training will take place as normal with registration at 11.15hrs and on the pitch/in the hall from 11.30hrs to 12.30hrs. Can you please get back into the habit of registering the players on arrival, even if you are late as we need to keep track of numbers, especially if a parent comes to collect their child and we haven’t registered them. I trust you understand the importance of this one act.
Can I also note that the weather will be as unpredictable as it always is, so please bring appropriate clothing and footwear for all conditions, internal, or external.
I would also like to put out an appeal to all of you would-be coaches… We are all volunteers and there is a role for everyone in the Club, whether it is on the pitch, helping with registration, or in the kitchen. All assistance is very much welcomed as it is appreciated.
Finally, we have a Women’s Touch Rugby Team now at Whitecraigs and we train on a Wednesday evening 19.30hrs on the pitch. Several of the Mums have responded and have had a great time. Feel free to give it a try and you’ll get fit too.
There is no Micros Training on the 24th September as it is the Holiday Weekend.
Yours in rugby,
Jon Jewitt (07989 502 810).
