Good Afternoon from a sunny and dry West Lodge,
The 1st XV return to West Lodge tomorrow to play top of the table Kirkcaldy. This is going to be a tough one but I know that the team have prepared well this week and are up for the challenge. Kirkcaldy’s strength is their big pack and we will have to have a game plan to make them move about and use territory to our advantage.
The 2nd XV are playing Lenzie on the adjoining pitch.
The under 18s are away to Dunfermline in a top of the table clash. Dunfermline are top owing to points difference and our boys are determined to knock them off the perch. Has all the hallmarks of an outstanding game!
The other midi sides are playing Dunfermline on Sunday with two at home and two away. The Minis are at Allan Glens with 11.30 meet time at the Bearyards. The Micros are at their usual time.
The squash teams are back in league action and this weeks results are: 1sts lost to Western 7-15, 2nds beat Giffnock 4s 18-1, 3rds beat Glasgow 3s 16-3. Squash section is always on the lookout for new players so if you fancy a go please contact Malcolm Cameron -firstname.lastname@example.org
A date for your diary- We are having a Wine Tasting on Friday 10th November hosted by Guy Chatfield, the Wine Guru of Inverarity Morton. The ticket price is £20 including food to complement the fine wines on offer. I have been to a couple of Tastings hosted by Guy and he provides great insight to wine making in a very light hearted style. Reserve your place by contacting our own wine expert Davies Elder – email@example.com or Lilian Mitchell – firstname.lastname@example.org
This week’s sponsor is Charles Frazer Butchers from the Avenue. Pick up your discount card from behind the bar to sample their excellent produce.
Good luck to all Whitecraigs teams this weekend.
