After a long summer break, we are back to Minis rugby this Sunday.
Hopefully for the last year’s players it’s simply a matter of finding the gumshield and giving it a deep clean and making sure the boots still fit. For the new P4s making the big leap up to the Minis it will be a great experience as they move to the next stage in their development.
On Sunday we will start on the pitches at 11.30. I have changed the start time to match in with the Micros to hopefully help out the parents who have kids at both levels. However it’s still one hour for P4&5 and 90mins for P6&7. At present there is a great deal of work being done on the pitches at West Lodge so we may need to make use of the ground around the clubhouse while this is completed.
As ever, we need volunteers to coach (especially the P4s) and to help out with match day catering. Our first home game is on 3rd September against Cumnock so we need to get something organised by then.
Remember drink and gumshield and I’ll see you all on Sunday. Any questions, just let me know.
