Located in the heart of Newton Mearns with convenient access from surrounding areas and ample parking, Whitecraigs Rugby Club, with its licensed bar offers an exceptional setting for a wide range of events.

 The large function hall comfortably seats up to 110 guests and provides a choice of round or rectangular tables. With a raised stage for a band or disco and a dance floor area, it is an ideal location for engagement and wedding parties, birthday celebrations, ceilidhs, communion, funeral wakes, baby showers, hen parties and almost any other type of social or business event. 
 

In addition to the main function hall, there is a connecting lounge bar area available upon approval. This lounge accommodates an additional 50 people in a comfortable environment with direct access to the bar. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor patio area with bench seating, offering a fantastic view of the expansive club grounds. 
 
You may bring your own band / DJ and we can assist with the set up of our facilities to help make sure your event goes smoothly. You can dress the hall to suit your occasion, and from the many previous assorted functions it does look impressive! 
 
We also have a private boardroom that accommodates 12 people around a large table, ideal for a private meeting or a small enthusiasts groups and the comfortable Lounge is available for meetings, seminars that comfortably seats 50 people. There is a fixed 85” HD TV in the lounge as well as a 65” and 55” TV on stands available for your needs. A self-service coffee machine is in the lounge and teas and coffees are available.

 
The partly covered Beer Garden with benches and large grassed areas are perfect for medium to large outdoor functions and there is a small outside play area for the children.
 
For catering purposes needs we can provide a selection of finger snacks and hot and cold buffets from MacPhees of Barrhead, our preferred caterer. Alternatively, you may choose to bring in your own caterer or self cater. There is an optional small kitchen that can be utilised for a small charge.
 
Our venue has accessible parking, ramp access and an accessible toilet to allow for full/disabled wheelchair access.
